Crowd in Jos is Jesstake's first realism painting and largest to date. Captivated by the sun's reflection on the rooftops in a viral video of hoarded palliatives being recovered in Jos, she dedicated the next 8 months to painting every detail of the scene on a 16 x 24 inch canvas. The painting depicts the wastefulness of Nigerian corruption and explores themes of greed, survival and man-made poverty.

Care Instructions

Flattening your print: To flatten out prints delivered in a mailing tube, unroll and place face-down under heavy books for 24–48 hours

Handling: Avoid touching the print surface, instead hold by the edges to prevent fingerprints and oils transferring

Cleaning: Do not wet the print surface. Gently dust with a dry, soft brush if needed
